Genesis 1:26-28
26) God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."
27) God created man in his own image. In God‘s image he created him; male and female he created them.
28) God blessed them. God said to them, "Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it. Have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the birds of the sky, and over every living thing that moves on the earth."
Genesis 2:4-7
4) This is the history of the generations of the heavens and of the earth when they were created, in the day that Yahweh God made earth and the heavens.
5) No plant of the field was yet in the earth, and no herb of the field had yet sprung up; for Yahweh God had not caused it to rain on the earth. There was not a man to till the ground,
6) but a mist went up from the earth, and watered the whole surface of the ground.
7) Yahweh God formed man from the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul.
Genesis 2:18-22
18) Yahweh God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper suitable for him."
19) Out of the ground Yahweh God formed every animal of the field, and every bird of the sky, and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. Whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name.
20) The man gave names to all cattle, and to the birds of the sky, and to every animal of the field; but for man there was not found a helper suitable for him.
21) Yahweh God caused a deep sleep to fall on the man, and he slept; and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh in its place.
22) He made the rib, which Yahweh God had taken from the man, into a woman, and brought her to the man.
Job 33:4
4) The Spirit of God has made me, And the breath of the Almighty gives me life.
Job 34:10-15
10) "Therefore listen to me, you men of understanding: Far be it from God, that he should do wickedness, From the Almighty, that he should commit iniquity.
11) For the work of a man will he render to him, And cause every man to find according to his ways.
12) Yes surely, God will not do wickedly, Neither will the Almighty pervert justice.
13) Who gave him a charge over the earth? Or who has appointed him over the whole world?
14) If he set his heart on himself, If he gathered to himself his spirit and his breath;
15) All flesh would perish together, And man would turn again to dust.
Psalm 139:13-16
13) For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother‘s womb.
14) I will give thanks to you, For I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well.
15) My frame wasn‘t hidden from you, When I was made in secret, Woven together in the depths of the earth.
16) Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, The days that were ordained for me, When as yet there were none of them.
Isaiah 42:5
5) Thus says God Yahweh, he who created the heavens, and stretched them forth; he who spread abroad the earth and that which comes out of it; he who gives breath to the people on it, and spirit to those who walk therein:
Jeremiah 1:5
5) Before I formed you in the belly I knew you, and before you came forth out of the womb I sanctified you; I have appointed you a prophet to the nations.
Luke 1:39-44
39) Mary arose in those days and went into the hill country with haste, into a city of Judah,
40) and entered into the house of Zacharias and greeted Elizabeth.
41) It happened, when Elizabeth heard Mary‘s greeting, the baby leaped in her womb, and Elizabeth was filled with the Holy Spirit.
42) She called out with a loud voice, and said, "Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb!
43) Why am I so favored, that the mother of my Lord should come to me?
44) For behold, when the voice of your greeting came into my ears, the baby leaped in my womb for joy!
Acts 17:24-28
24) The God who made the world and all things in it, he, being Lord of heaven and earth, dwells not in temples made with hands,
25) neither is he served by men‘s hands, as though he needed anything, seeing he himself gives to all life and breath, and all things.
26) He made from one blood every nation of men to dwell on all the surface of the earth, having determined appointed seasons, and the bounds of their habitation,
27) that they should seek the Lord, if perhaps they might reach out for him and find him, though he is not far from each one of us.
28) ‘For in him we live, and move, and have our being.‘ As some of your own poets have said, ‘For we are also his offspring.‘
